RDP is an abbreviation for Remote Desktop Protocol. This network protocol was developed by Microsoft. Rangee Linux uses "FreeRDP", a free open source implementation of the RDP Protocol. The RDP protocol allows connections to Windows NT 4 TSE, Windows 2000 Terminal Server, Windows XP, Windows 2003, 2008 or 2012 Terminal Server.

By clicking on FreeRDP in the left menu list a menu opens up for the FreeRDP configuration. Within this configuration you can choose between the options global settings and new FreeRDP connection. Already set up connections will be listed below. These can be edited or deleted with the respective buttons.
